Connect to one of the T478 s 11 NOAA weather channels or turn on weather alerts to stay connected to the weather in your area. Need to charge your device With Do Not Disturb Mode activated while charging the T478 stops all communications but weather alerts.

Built-in LED flashlight
The T478 s built-in LED flashlight with its automatic power outage function gives you peace of mind during unexpected emergencies. Spend less time finding your radio in an emergency; if charging the flashlight will automatically turn on during a power outage.

Emergency alert button
With the T478 you can easily access help in a dangerous situation. By pressing the radio s dedicated emergency alert button you can transmit a loud alert siren to nearby radios. The alert is followed by voice or sounds from your environment so others can help you to safety.
